In a constantly evolving field, legal research is a critically important way of making a real impact in the world around us. A PhD in Law at the °ËØÔ±¬ÁÏ will give you the opportunity to immerse yourself in a sustained, in-depth study into a specific aspect of the law.

Law at °ËØÔ±¬ÁÏ is deeply invested in innovative and interdisciplinary research, rethinking legal questions with reference to Politics, International Relations, Business, and Ethics.

Our Supervisors

The standard requirement for an MPhil/PhD is a first or upper-second class honours degree and/or a relevant master’s degree. Candidates with other qualifications are considered on an individual basis, and we particularly value non-standard applicants currently working within law.
